Berlin picks two Danish films for Generation

The Berlinale has selected two Danish films for the Generation 14plus programme: Heidi Maria Faisst's "Rebounce" and Rune Schjøtt's feature film debut "Skyscraper".

In February, some 60 feature and short films will celebrate their premieres at the House of World Cultures, Generation’s new main venue. Twelve feature-length films have already been confirmed.

Since 1978, the Berlinale has dedicated a special section for children and youths: Generation. Extraordinary short and feature-length films are presented in two competitions, Kplus and 14plus. The best films are awarded the Berlinale’s Crystal Bears.

The 61st Berlin International Film Festival will be held from10 to 20 Feb, 2011.
