The 32nd Vienna International Children’s Film Festival will be held from November 14 to November 22, 2020.
There will be three festival awards:
Price of the Children’s Jury Audience Award UNICEF-Price The Vienna International Children’s Film Festival presents international productions or co-productions of great artistic merit, intended specifically for children and young people.
All submitted films will be pre-screened by the selection committee. The committee is responsible for the official program.
Films produced between 2018 and 2020 are eligible for the festival. We do not screen shorts, with the exception of really short films for children 4/5+.
Films will be screened in digital format (DCP), and in their original version (with German voice over).
A DVD or a preview screener as well as a dialogue-list in English, French or German are required.
Excerpts from films in competition (not to exceed five minutes)  are required to be used in any television broadcast produced in connection with the festival.
