AWARDS & JURIES
10 juries will award 18 prizes worth all together 64,000 euros. Most of them are given as supporting awards, i.e. the prize money has to be used for a dubbed version to make the film available for the German audience. In the German movie market dubbing is the dominating standard for transferring foreign-language films into German.
YOUNG URBAN CINEMA | www.youci.info
YoUCi is an unique and newly launched platform where the latest children‘s and youth films are
presented and discussed by children and young people in front of the camera. In order to facilitate the circulation of international children‘s and youth films across national borders, the operators plan co-operations with other international festivals. Around the globe, adolescents can discuss the productions available in the respective countries. The interactive platform thus generates international demand that enables distributors, cinemas, directors and creative people to become aware of trends, opinions and wishes of consumers.
SCHLINGEL INDUSTRY FORUM
A large number of representatives of all sectors of the film industry will meet again at the SCHLINGEL Industry Forum. This event series is rounded off by “Coming Soon" - a look into the works in progress of current international film productions, presented by the creators themselves.
