The VIth International Children's Television Festival "DYTIATKO" was held in 24-27 September, 2014 in Kharkov, Ukraine.
The Festival started witha premiere of the film "Timur and Squad".Screening for guests and anyone interested was held in O. Dovzhenko cinema.After screening, there was a kind of creative meeting with the director of the film NataliiaGaluzo. She answered the questions of the young viewers online who filled the red room of the cinema.
There were some workshops for children ofKharkov TV studios. They were held in the press center of Council House. The first one was about the specifics of documentary film. DmytroKonovalov, the trainer of the workshop, told about the peculiarities of a documentary film creation.
For the first time in Ukraine, scenario pitching for children's television animation studios was held. 8 projects were introduced to the members of the jury and all visitors. Pitching took place in the online mode with live broadcast on the web-site of International Children's festival "Dytiatko".
Natalia Guzieieva, the jury member of the VIth International Children's Television Festival "Dytiatko", children's writer, scriptwriter, author of the cartoons about Kapitoshka and Petryk Pyatochkin, told about the secrets of creating animated films at her workshop "Script of cartoon". The workshop went online in the press center of the Council House.
The other workshop was “FACE and Voice of Kharkov Air” Which was taught by LidiiaSergiienko, one of the first announcers of Kharkov Television, who has been the face of the channel for a long time. She talked with pupils of the studios, which were interested in the secrets of her mastery. She alsotalked about the people whom she considers as professionals. And with the voice that almost everyone recognized,announced the weather forecast.
