The 12th China International Children’s Film Festival is now open for film submission.

The festival will be held from September 10th to 14th, 2013 in Siping City, Jilin Province, China.

The China International Children’s Film Festival (CICFF) is an international children’s film event held every two years, organized by the China Children’s Film Association. The festival provides Chinese children an opportunity to understand different cultures from all over the world, and helps international children’s film professionals exchange experiences and ideas on film production and education for children.

The festival is held in two main sections:

1. Competition: Children’s Film and Animated Features

2. Panorama: Special Subject Screening

The International Jury, the Children Jury, and the CIFEJ Jury will give  their special awards to the best films.

 Forum on the Development of International Children’s Film, Children’s Film Theme Events, local Children’s Cultural Activities, Opening Ceremony, and Awards Ceremony are among other events during the festival.

Final film submission deadline is April 30, 2013; please submit your application online (  http://www.cicfif.cn   ).

The DVD screener of film should be sent to the festival office before May 10, 2013.
