CIFEJ Film workshops were held in China during the 12th China International Children’s Film Festival (September 10th to 14th, 2013) in Jilin Province by the CIFEJ Board member, Maikki Kantola from 8 a.m. for children and 9 a.m. for the adults till about 5 p.m. 

Two animations "The Legend of Half Mountain in Siping"  and "The Legend of Fairy Horse Spring" were made during the six-day- CIFEJ Animation Workshop by 12 kid participants. 

 There were also three (3)  documentary workshops in each of which six young people participated; "THE CITY OF HEROS" was  the first documentary film produced in 2 days.

The workshops were held at the Siping No.3 Senior High School.
